In this, my second blog post featuring the recent NASS Festival, I’ve selected some images of the bands that I photographed over the three days in early July…which now seems like it was months ago!

Above: UK Grime supremo Big Narstie took to the Southbank Stage late on the Friday night to a packed and sweaty house.
Above: Famed for their energetic live performances, Fridays Main Stage headliner were Enter Shikari who played a furious set, accompanied by an incredible light show.

Above: Playing their first ever festival, Saturday nights much anticipated headliners were the impressive Rebel Sound. A dream-team sound clash comprising David Rodigan, Shy FX, Rage, and Chase & Status these guys meant serious business.
Above: The ubiquitous David Rodigan opens up Rebel Sounds set with a super-bass-heavy mix of Dawn Penns “No, No, No” – which got the huge crowd jumping from the word ‘Go!’
Above & Below: The amazing Shy FX took control of the front-of-house duties for Rebel Sound.
Above: One of the bands that I most wanted to see was Roni Size Reprazent. Featuring original Reprazent members of Roni Size, Onallee, MC Dynamite and bassist Si John (pictured below), they delivered a flawless Drum & Bass set in the rain – one of the highlights of my weekend for sure.
Above: the vocal talents of the stunning Onallee are a perfect compliment to Reprazents infectious beats.
Above: the man himself, Roni Size, concentrating on delivering a killer set to his legion of dedicated fans.
Above: the last band of the Festival, and headlining the Main Stage on Sunday night were Public Enemy.
Above: Never one to disappoint, Flava Flav arrives onstage with typical panache.
Above: Chuck D feeling a heavy groove.

In a final blog later this week, I will be posting some shots of NASS people – the crowds, the faces, the vibe.
